@mini020107 Hi You can convert into cups basically for flour, 1lb =2 cups. a cup is a unit of volume and an pound is a unit of weight, so hard to convert but I can tell you for flour as I said above. Hope this helps. Feel free to clear all your doubts before you make this recipe. Enjoy! ?

@CT2507 Hi You ...
@CT2507 Hi You are? right. This recipe does require enough ghee if you want original richness. Thank you and keep enjoying.

@SuperVeggieDelight ...
@SuperVeggieDelight i did actualy try and reduce the ghee amount, but i found it harder to cook as it gets very heavy to stir! but also i love exactly the? richness that the ghee gives. so i dont think i will be changing this recipe. :) thankyou for sharing your recipe. i have tried different kinds but yours is the closest i have gotten to that original flavour and consistency i had when i was in India. :) cheers.

@CT2507 Hi Thank ...
@CT2507 Hi Thank you for sharing all these. It helps many users? to get ideas what they can do. Keep sharing.

@CT2507 Hi You ...
@CT2507 Hi You can always reduce the amount of ghee but then? you won't get the richness of this burfi and you might not be able to cook even besan perfectly. And yes, it is better than any other store bought sweet. enjoy!

@lokloke7777 it ...
@lokloke7777 it takes a few hours to solidify. i keep mine out to cool down near an open window till it gets room temp. then i? put in fridge for faster solidification. but u will find that it break into many small pieces if u try to cut it while its chilled. leave it to get room temp before u cut, then its much easier to cut in all the sizes u want. u can skip the fridge and just let it settle at room temp. but it takes a few hours. the fridge just quikens the process. cheers.

@baffosmack it does ...
@baffosmack it does look heart-stopping, but i find that this ladu is better for me than most commercial sweets. i think its the besan. it has a nourishing quality, so it feels more like a small meal than? just eating sweets. ;)
